I'm listening to Mogwai - Happy Songs for Happy People, and I just realized that song three (Kids Will Be Skeletons) is a dead ringer for an old Blowing Up Babylon song. Not that I'm implying Mogwai somehow got ahold of some bootleg BUB recordings and ripped us off...but I am implying BUB was the shit and ahead of our time. But by the time anyone would have noticed, everyone would've thought we were a Mogwai rip-off. |
